My name is Maegan and I'm a married, working mom of a little boy named Parker and a little girl named Vivian who you will see littered all over these pages as much of my inspiration for my writings.  

My main purpose of this blog is to have something of my own.  I give so much of myself as a mother I crave a creative outlet, and this platform is an expression of long term loves of art, reading, yoga, and much more.  I enjoy sharing my passions, my poetry, and my explorations as I navigate motherhood the best way I can and hope to connect with other mothers as we give it our all every day.

Entering this stage of my life has been complex at best, and in particular I feel that practicing mindfulness not only helps me be a more present mommy, but a happier human. 

For a long time I felt like I was pouring from an empty cup and was desperately searching for a healthier mind, body, and outlook on life. Because as much as I love my babies, the struggle is real.

Using this blog as my voice, all I wish to do is simply share ideas and reflections that have worked for me as a mom and a woman as life unfolds.  For me, my yoga and meditation practice were the keys to the catalyst of change in my perspective of life.

I look forward to sharing more with you as this continues to be a fluid expression of my mindfulness practice, and hope that you will connect with some content, too.  Let's keep the conversation going - I love connecting with other mamas because we have so much to learn from each other!
